POLICE INVESTIGATE PUSH IN ROBBERY ATTEMPT
November 13, 2009


City of Middletown Police are investigating a push-in robbery that occurred early this morning on Wilbur Ave.

Police responded to Wilbur Ave at 1:40 AM after the victim called police and reported that three males wearing ski masks broke down his back door and demanded money.

The suspects are describes as black males wearing neoprene masks and gloves. All three were approximately 5”8” to 5’11” with slim to medium builds. Two were wearing wool caps and one had on a baseball cap. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns.

One of the occupants of the house suffered a laceration and bumps to the head after being struck with a handgun. Another occupant suffered an abrasion on her leg. The third occupant did not suffer and injuries.

The occupants were able to run out of the house and call police. Nothing was taken from the residence or its occupants.
