POLICE QUICKLY MAKE ARREST IN STABBING

The City of Middletown Police quickly made an arrest of a Middletown woman after she stabbed her boyfriend during a domestic dispute Saturday evening.

Middletown Police have charged April Baltimore, 20, with Assault 2nd, a Class “D” Felony, and Resisting Arrest, a Class “A” Misdemeanor for allegedly stabbing her live in boyfriend at their home.

Police transported Baltimore to Arden Hill Hospital for a mental health evaluation after she made suicidal threats to friends and officers. She was latter arraigned in Middletown City Court and turned over to the Orange County Sheriffs Office.

The victim, who did not have life threatening injuries, has been treated and released from Orange Regional Medical Center.

The City of Middletown Police Department, which is the second largest police department in Orange County, started serving the residents of Middletown in 1888.
