Middletown Police make arrest in string of burglaries 02/16/2010 On February 15, 2010 the Middletown Police Department arrested Joseph F. Brighton 05/07/1984 of Cottage Street, Middletown New York and charged him with three counts of burglary in the second degree. Brighton was arrested for the burglary of three residences in the city's first ward during late 2009. Brighton was being held in lock-up pending arraignment in Middletown City Court.
