The Juvenile Aid Bureau is made up of a Sergeant, Detectives and School Resource Officers.  The juvenile division is responsible for the investigation of crimes committed by juveniles as well as providing information to parents in regards to different avenues that can be explored for a positive outcome with a troubled child.  The City of Middletown Police Department is committed to the development and implementation of programs designed to reach out to the youth of the community and establish positive relationships, and to prevent and control juvenile delinquency and other behavior that impacts on the quality of life in our community.

The Crime Prevention unit is the direct liaison between the City of Middletown Neighborhood Watch and the Police Department.  With the help of Neighborhood Watch events are scheduled throughout the year to bring the police department closer to the community.  The City of Middletown Police Department prides itself in developing a good working relationship with our community.  We offer a variety of services to the citizens of Middletown such as child seats inspections.
