The City of Middletown Police Department’s patrol division is divided into four patrol squads. Each squad is commanded by a Lieutenant, who is assisted by a  patrol road Sergeant.

The patrol division is responsible to protect and preserve life and property in our community. Along with protecting citizens, patrol officers deter crime by being a visible presence thereby preventing potential crime. Their accessibility to our community helps maintain order and allows a trust to develop between our community and the department.

Last year the patrol division handled 36,377 calls for service.
