The Detective Bureau is made up a Detective Sergeant, Detectives and an ID Officer.  The Detective Bureau is responsible for the investigation of reported criminal offenses, evidence collection and other crime scene matters. The Detective Bureau maintains a close working relationship with other components of the Department including patrol and is a liaison with other police and criminal justice agencies.  The Detectives are also responsible for gathering criminal intelligence, monitoring felony arrest warrants and indictments, crime analysis and other related functions.  The sex offender registry is monitored by the Detective Division.
